Our Custom Design Process

Preparation:

  • Provide Resmark with the address of your land
  • Email us your lot plan, contours and developer building guidelines if available

Initial Meeting:

  • Share with us your ideas & aspirations for your dream home
  • Bring along any articles, photos or ideas that have inspired you
  • Identify specific family or cultural requirements
  • Discuss the desired size and budget for your new home
  • View the range of building materials available to build your home e.g. brick, Hebel, Colorbond, cladding etc

Draft Plan:

  • Remark will analyse the developer and Council design guidelines for your block
  • Identify any specific difficulties with your site that need to be taken into account as part of the design such as slope, narrowness, existing trees, bushfire, power poles
  • We will then create an initial draft design that incorporates all your ideas along with the design requirements for your block
  • Then cost the design based on the information available at that time

Design Presentation:

  • Resmark will email you the initial draft plan to check prior to the 2nd meeting & schedule an appointment
  • We will present to you the draft plan and initial cost estimate
  • Discuss any changes or modifications that you would like to make to the design
  • Finalise the list of inclusions and any upgrades that you require

Final Plan:

  • Resmark will amend the design with your required changes
  • Then re-cost the plan and any upgrades requested
  • Email these to you to approve
  • Discuss with you if there are any final amendments to perfect the plan and then amend the plan if required
  • Provide you with a final concept plan and quote

Tender:

  • Resmark will prepare a written tender
  • We will then present and explain the tender and building process with you
  • Once you have obtained finance approval, you can then sign the tender with us and pay the initial deposit
  • The building process of you new home begins!
